An optional 32-card Reward deck which provides new incentives for allying with the defense and which will include at least the following:
Kickers, which multiply your Attack card, your Compensation, or your opponent's ships lost in a failed deal
Rifts, a mechanic that makes its official debut in this edition of CE
Attack -01, -04, -07
Negotiate (Crooked Deal), which grants +1 cards in Compensation or +1/-1 on ships lost due to failure to deal
Another Cosmic Zap, another Card Zap, and new artifacts to this edition (Finder, Hand Zap, and Space Junk)

Negotiates
Right of Refusal (If you receive any cards from compensation or a deal, you may discard any or all of those cards)
Faulty Translator (Opposed by Attack, loses but collects compensation from one opposing ally, or from the opponent if he or she has no allies; opposed by negotiate, players have to make a deal using only gesture, and players lose one fewer ship for an unsuccessful deal)
Epic Oratory (Collects double compensation or saves ships from going to the warp. Opposed by negotiate, players may gain up to two colonies each in a deal)
Self Defense (Send one opposing ship to the warp for every ship lost on your side)
